They smell bad.
They have points on the stems
that stick you every time you touch them.
They are rather had to photograph.
But I look forward to the time that they will bloom every year
and I wait for the first signs of spring
because I know that soon one of the pretties flowers in our yard
will soon bloom
and show all the world
just how fearfully and wonderfully God has made everything.
