#28: A Scar You Have And It's Story.

My dad once told me that scars are there to remind you of all of the dumb things you've done.

I once thought that scars were pretty cool.
However it was only recently that I realized that scars aren't as cool as I once thought.
That was fine with me because I didn't have any cool scars anyway; they are all from irons and knives.

Back to the question: My biggest scar is the one I got when I was ironing and I reached around the iron and when I brought my arm back I touched the iron.
It hurt but it didn't hurt badly enough because I didn't cry and I didn't learn my lesson. The very next time I ironed I burned myself again!

#27: A Physical Feature You Love.

Noses.
Without a doubt.
I tend to notice peoples noses the most.
For example one day we were coming home from church and Rachel said something like"Who was that new family that was there today?"
To which I responded "Oh, do you mean the family with the long, straight noses?"
"Uh.. well I didn't really notice their noses."

#26: A Childhood Memory.

I have lots of memories of being a kid.

I remember when my sisters, my(then)only brother Ryan and I all went outside to play one cold, winter day. We built a sheet tent around the dryer-outlet-vent-thingy.
We stayed there for a long time in the "warmth" of the tent talking and laughing.
Now that we think back on it we wonder why we didn't just go inside but if we had we wouldn't have the great memory!

#25: A Recipe!

I love to cook and right now I'm in a "Rock-Solid-Bread" phase! :)
But forget about that.

One of my favorite recipes in the world is the Pesto recipe!
It's awesome.
It's fantastic.
You can put it on ANYTHING!!!
(NOTE: some people don't like it but I LOVE it!)

Pesto:
1+1/2 cups of olive oil
1(or 2) cloves of garlic
2 cups(or more)of parsley or cilantro
1/2(or more)cups of grated Parmesan cheese*

Throw it all in the food possessor blend it up and eat it on pasta, pizza, sandwiches, chips, tacos, burgers and just about anything else you can get your hands on!

*You can add more or less depending on how thick/thin you want it to be. Thick works best for chips while thin tends to work best for pasta.

#24: A Movie No One Would Expect You To Love.

That would probably be Night At The Museum 2: Battle Of The Smithsonian.
I didn't think I would like it but I was surprised by how much I loved it even for it's faults.
The language that was used was somewhat unnecessary but it was still a very good movie.
I have never laughed that hard at any movie before; I laugh during funny parts and giggle through the rest!

#23: A Way In Which You Want To Be Remembered

"...remember me as I was; wild and free..."
- One of my favorite movies...ever.

I want to be remembered as being nice.

So people can say "Do you remember Erin? She was SO nice!"

or

"Do you remember the time Erin did so-and-so for us when we had the flu that time? She was so nice"

or

"I remember the time she brought us a meal when you were in the hospital. She was so nice"

Of course it doesn't really matter because I won't care after I'm gone so you remember me anyway you want to.
Just try to thing nice thoughts...please.

IMSLP! the most awesome sheetmusic website in the entire WWW!!!
2) Sharmusic! They sell trustworthy music supplies. Need I say more?
3) Keith and Kristyn Getty! I wish our church sung some of their songs!!!
4) Catalog Living! Funny, funny, funny!!!
5) Six Angles! They just got started but it's very good.

#20 A Hobby Of Yours

Playing the violin.
That's what I do most often.
I play for 2 hours a day and the other 13 I think about playing while I do something else:)

The other day a lady at church asked Rachel what she likes to do and Rachel gave her a long list. She then turned to me and asked "What do you like to do?"
I told her playing the violin.

Day 19: A Talent Of Yours

Well one of my
(many,

many,

many,

many,

many
,)
talents is being able to make light of serious situations.
Which is not always a good thing but it can sometimes be useful.
One of my friends told me that I laugh at everything people say.
I laughed.
But I don't always laugh at everything.

I'm also very humble...
(Just kidding.)

#18 A Time I Felt Passionate And Alive

Well I remember when I was young and we would go to my granddad's beach house.
After dinner I would walk out on the porch and look out at the big moon coming up across the ocean.
The wind would blow my hair across my face and tug at my clothes.
I would close my eyes and imagine that I had a beautiful dress and long red hair.
I can't remember exactly whether I felt "passionate or alive" but I can remember thanking God for making the wind and waves because there aren't any elements of nature that I love more than water and wind.
I was so happy standing there.

Another time I remember felling joyful and thankful like that was at my churches Lessons&Carols.

#17 An Art Piece

Well I must say my favorite artist ever is probably Norman Rockwell.
I love the way he captures so many different aspects of life in such a creative and(sometimes)comical manner.

Like running away from home,

and being a plumber,

and painting a self portrait.

#16 A Song That Makes You Cry

This a hard one.
Not for that fact that I don't listen to sad songs or because I haven't really thought of an answer but because I never cry.
I only cry about once or twice a month.
I'm one of those people that whenever I cry my older sister feels my head to see if I have fever.

I'm probably one of the few people who didn't cry at the end of Toy Story 3
(but I did think it was sweet).

It's not that I don't have a soft heart( I feels sad about things) it's just that crying is not something that I do.

But enough about me.
A Song That Makes Me Want To Cry.

There Is A Fountain Filled With Blood
-the tune is very beautiful but I actually like the harmony better.

The Deep, Deep Love Of Jesus

Rock Of Ages
-the traditional tune is okay but I like New City Fellowship the best.

and
Amy Grant's song Lay Down Your Burden.

#15 A Person I Admire

It would be my mom of course because you can't NOT admire your mother!

After all how many people have taken care of you your entire life besides your parents?

How many people have taught you how to read?

How many people still hugged you when you had the stomach virus every winter of the first 10 years of your life?
(Okay, I didn't have it every winter but it sure seemed like it!)

How many people still think you are cute and sweet even though you iron your sheets?

So, yes, the answer to #15 is my mom.

#14 A Vacation That You Would Like To Take

Well I have something to say.

It is going to come as a shock so prepare yourself.

But to tell the truth.
(I don't really like to vacation).

I'm sorry!
I'm probably the only person in the U.S.; in the Americas; in fact the WHOLE WORLD who doesn't look forward to vacations.

Who doesn't look forward to going to the beach during Summer Vacation or shopping in New York!

I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't dream of touring Paris or floating in canals in Venice or sipping tea in a tea shoppe in London while watching the rain fall outside.

I'm sorry but that's the way I am.
I like to stay home and do the things that I do everyday.

However...
I do like to look at pictures of Ireland and Scotland with all the rolling hills of lush green grass with little fluffy white sheep (and some cows) grazing atop them.

I like quaint things.
Like little cottages with little cottage gardens.

and beautiful views of landscapes.

And that is where I would like to vacation if I liked to vacation.

The End.

#13 A Guilty Pleasure

Well you know I've never really stopped to think about it so I came to the conclusion that...

I, IN FACT, DO NOT HAVE A GUILTY PLEASURE!!!

Isn't that great?!?!?!?!

Next question...

#12 A Song that You Want Played At Your Wedding

Well if I had to pick a song I would probably pick O Perfect Love(It's very pretty).

But if I could just pick ANY piece of music I liked I might pick Largo from Winter(Vivaldi)
or
something very random like Springs first movement(Vivaldi as well)!

I don't really want Canon in D or Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring played because,
while I think that they are very beautiful,
I think they have been slightly over used.

#11 A Photo Of You Taken Recently

NOTE: The title is not A Good Photo Of You Taken Recently.
Which is a good thing because I searched through our photo library and could not come up with even one.
So here is a bad photo of me taken recently with our friends good camera. :)
